WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Glam Artist Qualifications
Professional Experience:
- 3+ years in makeup artistry, hair styling, or beauty direction
- Portfolio demonstrating runway, editorial, or commercial work
- Understanding of makeup/hair techniques for photography and runway lighting
Specialization (Choose One or More):
- Makeup Artist (face, special effects, artistic looks)
- Hair Stylist (updo, extensions, creative styling)
- Hair & Makeup Combination Artist
- Beauty Director (oversee multiple artists, coordinate looks)
What Matters Most:
- Portfolio quality and versatility
- Professional communication and reliability
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Collaboration with designers on vision
- Adaptability to different aesthetics (emerging to established)
